Williams Arizona 2006 Mayoral Candidate.

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) Mar. 17, 2006 - Buff the mayoral candidate was trying to sniff-out votes. But he won't be raising his right paw to take the oath of office. Buff the dog was a write-in candidate in the race for mayor in Williams, Arizona. But sitting Mayor Ken Edes, the only candidate on the actual ballot, easily won re-election. Buff and the other write-in candidates did manage to get about a quarter of the votes. Buff ran on a platform of friendliness and honesty.
